Change the Logon Screen of Windows 7

When we use our own PC or Laptop, always modify the themes, sound or desktop background as our own choice. But most of us don't know how to change the logon screen. So my dear friends, today I'm going to share how to change the logon screen. Just follow the steps ---



01. Go to Start and write regedit in the search box and it'll show a new window named is Registry Editor.


02. Go to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\Background


03. Then see if there is a DWORD value called OEMBackground, then double click and modify the value data from 0 to 1.( If you do not have OEMBackground then you need to create a new DWORD value key called OEMBackground first.) After you are done, close this.


04. Now go to c:\windows\system32\oobe\ and create a info folder and then inside it create a backgrounds folder.


05.Put a JPEG file in there that is less than 256KB and call the file name backgroundDefault.jpg , then reboot and your done!
